Slaced Decals is a small business founded by a pair of brothers who grew up and still reside in the great state of Utah. They inherited a vinyl cutter (plotter) and started creating vinyl designs for friends and family, noticing a lack of self-expressive, highly detailed, and high-quality Vinyl Decals in the current market. From this, they formed the "Slaced" brand by flipping the word "decals."

The brothers take great pride in the decals they create, knowing they will help people express themselves. Slaced Decals are manufactured using a meticulous process, starting from a roll of high-quality, Oracal 651 Vinyl with a 6+ year outdoor rating. The vinyl is loaded into the plotter and precisely cut to specification. The excess material is then "weeded," leaving just the desired decal. A clear, medium-tack transfer tape is applied to the decal, facilitating easier alignment and a balance between grabbing the decal from the wax paper and releasing it once applied.

After the decals are cut out, they are carefully packaged, and detailed application instructions are included. These instructions guide the user through the straightforward steps: cleaning the surface, securing the clear transfer tape to the decal, slowly removing the wax backing paper, rubbing the decal and transfer tape onto the clean surface, and slowly peeling off the clear transfer tape, leaving the decal in place.

Slaced Decals can be applied to any smooth, hard surface, including car windows, laptops, water bottles, tumblers, coolers, cups, helmets, bikes, dog bowls, and clipboards, among countless other possibilities. The vinyl's 6+ year outdoor rating ensures the decals will withstand weather conditions, car washes, and direct sunlight without fading.

Notably, Slaced Decals are manufactured using solar power, a renewable energy source. The entire process, from cutting and weeding to applying the transfer tape, cutting, and packaging, is done in the business owner's basement, with the computer used for typing powered by the same solar energy.
